Exploring Lucid
Dreaming Powers
Once you have learned to lucid dream there are different
techniques you will want to try. Exploring the powers you have
while lucid dreaming can be fun and exciting.
Now that you know how to lucid dream, sometimes staying lucid
becomes difficult. Other times once you realize you are
dreaming you end up waking up instead. First here are some
tips to staying lucid:
1.
Stay calm once you have realized you are lucid dreaming. When
we realize we are lucid we become excited which stops us from
being lucid or we wake up, so stay calm and take deep
breathes. Repeating to yourself that you are lucid and that
you’re going to stay in your dream lucid will help you not
lose your lucidity.
2.
Another way is to start spinning in your dream. Spin yourself
around and around and keep telling yourself that when you stop
spinning and you are standing still that you will still be
dreaming. This helps to calm you down and direct your focus on
something else besides your lucidity.
3.
Try looking at or even rubbing your hands together. By looking
at them you are focusing on something and rubbing them
together causes movement. While doing either of these again
keep repeating that you are staying in your dream and that
when you stop looking at them or rubbing them you will still
be in your dream.
4.
You can always grab onto something also, whatever is closest.
Keeping saying you want to stay in the dream.
5.
Sometimes being unsure of where to start or what to do while
you are lucid can make your lucid dream fade, so make a to do
it list of anything. Things you want to do in the lucid dream,
questions you have, anything that is related to lucid dreaming
and that you can focus on. Knowing what you want to do while
you are in a lucid dream gives you a direction to go in and
will help keep you lucid.
6.
Lastly, if all else is failing than shout out that you want to
stay in the lucid dream. Whatever phrase works best for you,
just shout out as a statement.
Now that you are able to stay lucid exploring what you can do
while lucid can be a lot of fun and very enlightening. Here
are a few fun activities to do while lucid dreaming that also
makes you feel very powerful and in control:
o
Confront any enemy that is in your dream. Someone or something
that is chasing you, a person that is verbally attacking you,
confront these people. Sometimes by looking at whatever it is
will be enough for it to go away, however if it is still there
than ask what it is doing? Why is it in your dream? Use the
knowledge you have of is being your dream to defeat it.
o
Now that your enemy has been defeated, demand a gift from
them. You will always receive a gift and these gifts are
usually something very powerful like art or music. Asking for
a gift gives you the power and also dissolves the enemy and
turns a negative into a positive.
o
Lastly, you can give a hug to the enemy. Again, this turns the
situation around and makes a negative a positive. Coming into
direct contact with your enemy can dissolve the situation and
make you face any fears you may have.
Lucid dreaming can be a very powerful and effective way to
conquer your fears and resolve situations within yourself that
have been troubling you. It can be powerful for yourself when
you realize that things that you have been scared of you have
conquered and are no longer frightened of. Exploring these
different ways to move through your lucid dreams to get over
unresolved situations or issues will give you an overall sense
of power within yourself.
