Sometimes we need the information broken down for us into a few questions to find the answers we want.  Below you will find the ten most frequently asked questions.

Now that you have learned more about lucid dreaming you may still have some questions on your mind.  Or maybe you are still not sure about some aspects of lucid dreaming and just want a simple question to give you the answer.  The 10 most frequently asked questions are below and should resolve any unanswered thoughts you may have.

  1. Can anyone lucid dream?  Yes, anyone can lucid dream.  Lucid dreaming is a technique that can be learned and cultivated over time.  If you are dreaming then you can learn to lucid dream.  Writing dreams down and remembering them will make lucid dreaming easier.

  2. Is lucid dreaming hard?  It can be hard for some people and others it comes very easily.  There is no way to know who can do it easily and who cannot.  However, the more you practice lucid dreaming the easier it will become over time.

  3. Is lucid dreaming scary?  No, lucid dreaming is not scary.  It may be unnerving at times, but it should not be scary.  These are your dreams and when you are lucid dreaming you have control over them.  Becoming nervous or very excited when you realize you are lucid dreaming is normal and staying calm will make the lucid dream last longer.

  4. I'm having problems lucid dreaming, what do I do?  Sometimes when you keep practicing and practicing you become stressed, which will make lucid dreaming even more difficult.  Relax and maybe take a break from lucid dreaming for awhile.  Sometimes doing nothing at all and not even thinking about will make a lucid dream happen.  Lucid dreaming can happen when we least expect it, when we are most relaxed and receptive to allowing a lucid dream to happen.

  5. I keep waking up while lucid dreaming?  You are probably waking up because you become excited when you realize you are lucid dreaming.  When you realize you are lucid dreaming try looking at your hands or grabbing a hold of something nearby and repeating to yourself that you are lucid dreaming and that you want to stay lucid.  Focusing on something else while lucid dreaming can help you to stay calm and stay within the lucid dream.

  6. How do I know I had a lucid dream?  Once you are conscious in the dream, you are lucid dreaming.  When you awake if you have remembered your dream and realized that you were dreaming than you had a lucid dream.

  7. Can I do anything I want while lucid dreaming?  You can do anything you want while lucid dreaming.  Flying, walk through walls, teleport yourself, anything you want to do.  It is your dream.

  8. Should I lucid dream first before trying astral projections?  Yes, knowing how to lucid dream will make astral projections easier and much more fun once you know how to lucid dream first.

  9. Can I get hurt while lucid dreaming?  No, you cannot get hurt.  This is only a dream, nothing is actually real and dreaming is actually good for you.

  10. Can I both lucid dream and have an astral projection?  Yes, you can be having a lucid dream and then decide to have an astral projection.  Astral projections are advanced lucid dreams.  So, essentially once an astral projection begins you are still lucid dreaming and need to stay conscious to stay in the astral projection.
