Musical
Triggers for Our Dreaming Experience
Many times there are musical triggers that can help create
your lucid dreaming experience. Here are a few ways to use
music to create the dreams you want.
If you have been trying to lucid dream and it has become
difficult there is always the option of trying to use music to
help enhance and possibly achieve the results you are looking
for. Lucid dreaming is a technique that is learned over time
for many people. There will be times that it happens easily
and you have very clear dreams and other times that it is more
difficult and it takes more time to achieve. Using the many
techniques available to lucid dream and find the dreams you
want can be a very enjoyable and rewarding experience. Music
is one such technique and tool available to make lucid
dreaming happen. Music can help relax you and can sometimes
take you to the places you are looking for more easily and
freely. Music is a way to connect to past dreams you have had
also. Using music to induce the dreams from your past and
create new ones. There are a few different ways to use music
while dreaming and attempting to lucid dream. Here are a few
ways that music can help you with your lucid dreaming
experiences.
1.
Picking music that has special meaning to you. If you are
trying to lucid dream so that you can ask questions and find
out information that has to do with your current life, then
choosing music that has special meaning to you can help. The
music can help take you to places and people that it reminds
you of. Also, helping to get you where you want to be. Music
that has meaning will also create an environment that you feel
safe in and are familiar with. The safer you feel, the easier
your lucid dreams will happen and the clearer they will be for
you. Also, you will be able to remember more of them more
clearly by connecting music to them.
2.
Choosing music that is relaxing to you. Finding songs that
will relax you and comfort you can increase your dream
capability and the type of dreams you have. Just as music
affects our moods while we are awake it will also affect us
while we are asleep. Picking songs or instrumentals that relax
you and create a soothing environment will take you to places
you want to see. The music will also help you to feel safe and
that you are in a familiar place. Being able to completely
relax prior to dreaming can be more difficult than it sounds,
especially because you have to be able to let go of so many
thoughts and emotions you may be feeling prior to sleeping.
Being completely relaxed makes dreaming happen and using music
to relax you will create a very comfortable environment to be
in.
3.
Depending on the music you choose, some music will create
different environments. Such as, picking classical pieces
versus jazz tunes will have an effect on the dreams you have
and what happens in your lucid dreams. Using music in this way
will take you to places you never imagined and you will be
able to experience things you never thought possible by
choosing different music to listen to while dreaming.
There is also the possibility that when you hear particular
songs or instrumentals you will very easily be able to go into
a lucid dream. As you learn to remember your dreams and become
better at lucid dreaming, using music to take you to your
dreams will become easier to do. Music has shown to trigger
lucid dreams, just as words can trigger particular emotions or
feelings, music can have the same affect. Allowing certain
songs to bring out the dreams you want, relating the two
together will get easier to do and will happen more naturally
over time.
